Re: SBA List's Joy Yearout discusses VP pick on FOX News

It was so sad when the pro-abortion side tried to trot out the "women are too smart to switch their vote because of Palin" argument.
They are right. Women are too smart... to have someone else tell them how they will decide to vote.
The radical pro-abortion femi-nots have told so many lies about the abortion issue, they have started to believe them. Only a small minority actually supports the extreme abortion-on-demand platform of the DNC. Only 3% of women voters say abortion rights is their number-one concern.
The DNC's sad devotion to the ancient altar of abortion is now their undoing. They were so convinced of victory that they didn't pick Hillary for veep. They thought McCain would choose a pro-abortion running mate, probably a man no less.
Now they are stunned by a pro-life woman, who is taking the national political stage by storm. They are desperately scrambling to come up with a new game plan.
But Sarah Palin is not your average pro-lifer. Not only is she walking the walk by bringing her precious special-needs son into the world, but she also proudly declares her membership in our sisters-in-arms organization, Feminists for Life.
I suspect that a lot of Hillary backers are personally opposed to abortion, but feel they must support "choice" out of a misguided sense of compassion.
When they hear the sensible arguments and the pro-woman-and-child solutions that FFL presents, I think a lot of them will think twice about a party that rabidly clings to partial-birth abortions and leaving babies on tables to die.
And they will have no problem voting for a ticket with a woman who is just like them -- a mom who is trying to make a better world for her children.
